The ensuite, charmingly rustic shower rooms means no midnight dashes to a loo block required.

Wrinklers Wood Safari Tents have been carefully positioned to guarantee you plenty of privacy during your stay. However, if you are traveling as a small group you can be within close reach if needed. Twiga & Tembo both have the added luxury of wood fired hot tubs and scenic countryside views. Sit outside on the veranda with a good book whilst enjoying the summer sunshine or wander through the site exploring the ancient oak woodland. James & Alex also have a selection of bikes that can be hired, the best way to explore the local lands.
Wrinklers Wood Safari Tents are located off the beaten track, yet within easy reach of some of the best beaches, towns and sites in Cornwall. Take a break from cooking and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal from the local pub ‘The Miners Arms’. Just a leisurely thirty minute walk from your luxurious safari tents.
The bustling village of St Agnes, just a few miles away, also has a variety of independent shops and eateries that you will love. Trevaunance Cove in St Agnes is a popular spot for surfers, if you are new to the sport perhaps you may like to book a lesson with Breakers Surf School. Koru Kayaking runs guided tours from St Agnes, exploring some of the coves on the North Coast or Frenchman’s Creek on the Helford River. Goonbell Riding Centre is based just outside of St Agnes, where you can book a romantic hack with your loved one. There are also plenty of cycle routes around St Agnes, marked out with blue cycle signs. Don’t worry about packing your bike, as you can hire one from Wrinklers Wood itself at Coastal Trail Cycle Hire.
Venture slightly further afield and you can explore the popular towns of St Ives, Newquay and Falmouth. The city of Truro is also less than twenty minutes away. There are an abundance of beaches to explore during your time in the safari tents, too many to mention in fact. However, James & Alex recommend a visit to Crantock Beach and Godrevy Beach in particular. Not to mention there are plenty of National Trust places to visit such as Trelissick Garden and East Pool Mine. The world renowned Eden Project is also less than an hour away.
