Woodland View, Holidays Wales
A homely hideaway, Woodland View offers truly unparalleled views and a comfortable nook perfect for escaping the strains and stresses of everyday life. Spend dreamy days lazing about in bed with direct views of the surrounding scenery, or instead pull on your trusted trekking boots and set out in search of adventure before returning to the blissfully bubbling hot tub.
Nicely nestled within the captivating countryside of Mid Wales, Woodland View sits on a stunning site on a working-farm with a selection of other perfect pods. Allowing you to bring along your four-legged friend, it is the ideal spot for those who enjoy walking and active, outdoor adventures.
A studio space with double bed and well-equipped kitchen, Woodland View offers immaculate, pristine presentation and a comfortable lounge area with a TV. The bathroom boasts a shower and flushing loo and the main area benefits from a beautiful circular glass entrance that allows the natural light to flood in.
Perfectly placed atop its own private patio, the pod benefits from a glorious grassy area (ideal for those bringing furry friends) ample private parking and your very own hot tub to enjoy whenever you fancy. Spend your evenings indulging in some al fresco dining before soaking beneath starry night skies with a glass of something gorgeous in hand.
The farm is situated less than 3 miles from the market town of Rhayader, the first town on the River Wye. The ideal excuse to pull on the wellies and go for a wander, there are a handful of shops stocking all of the essentials and local produce. Also nearby are the Elan and Claerwen Valleys where you can admire and marvel at the Victorian infrastructure as well as enjoying an abundance of rural rambles.
If it’s wining and dining your after, Rhayader has a choicely selection of eateries ranging from the casual cafe, The Lost Arc (which welcomes dogs) to the more bistro option of The Lamb and Flag Grill. The foodie scene of Ludlow is a scenic drive away, where there are attractions aplenty and several Michelin starred restaurants.
For other inspiring adventures, the coastal University town of Aberystwyth is nearby, as well as the Cambrian Mountains for wildlife enthusiasts.
