Marches Way, Holidays Wales
Get cosy and cwtch up with a blissful break at Marches Way. Tastefully decorated in a comfortable and contemporary scheme, the homely hut invites you to throw open the door and drink in the divine views directly from bed. Equipped with a convenient kitchen and dining area, you really can hole up for the duration of your stay if you so wish.
Nicely nestled within the captivating countryside of Mid Wales, Marches Way sits on a stunning site on a working-farm with a selection of other perfect pods. Allowing you to bring along your four-legged friend, it is the ideal spot for those who enjoy walking and active, outdoor adventures.
Cosy and charming, the open plan interior boasts a comfortable double bed and a convenient kitchen and dining area. A separate bathroom has a shower and flushing loo and wonderful accents of natural wood, copper and cream can be enjoyed throughout.
Surrounded by truly breath-taking views, Marches Way offers ample private parking and a fenced off garden area for the two of you to enjoy. You can also enjoy the delightful private deck (which is quite the sun trap) and comfy chairs with cosy blankets making for memorable evenings spent beneath the stars.
The farm is situated less than 3 miles from the market town of Rhayader, the first town on the River Wye. The ideal excuse to pull on the wellies and go for a wander, there are a handful of shops stocking all of the essentials and local produce. Also nearby are the Elan and Claerwen Valleys where you can admire and marvel at the Victorian infrastructure as well as enjoying an abundance of rural rambles.
If it’s wining and dining your after, Rhayader has a choicely selection of eateries ranging from the casual cafe, The Lost Arc (which welcomes dogs) to the more bistro option of The Lamb and Flag Grill. The foodie scene of Ludlow is a scenic drive away, where there are attractions aplenty and several Michelin starred restaurants.
For other inspiring adventures, the coastal University town of Aberystwyth is nearby, as well as the Cambrian Mountains for wildlife enthusiasts.
