The only difficult choice you will have to make is choosing which delightful cottage to stay in. East Kilblean cottage sleeps 4 and is dog friendly, West Kilblean cottage sleeps 2. Both are equally cosy and stylish and can be booked together to accommodate 6.

East Kilblean Cottage has two delightful bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds (can be converted to another king). The master bedroom at West Kilblean is simply stunning and also boasts a sumptuous king size bed. All adorned with luxurious Egyptian cotton bed sheets. Both cottages have cosy wood burning stoves, great for those chilly Scottish nights, best accompanied with a glass of red!

Enjoy an early coffee on the private patio, the birds providing a morning chorus especially for you. And after a day out, strike up the BBQ and dine al fresco. Simply enjoy the tranquil peace of Kilblean Cottage gardens. Both cottages also have private car parking.
Kilblean Cottages are ideally located for those keen to explore the stunning Aberdeenshire countryside. For the keen historians, the area is also known as ‘Scotland’s Castle Country’. With around 300 castles, stately mansions, ruins and an abundance of National Trust properties to visit such as Haddo House and Leith Hall, just ten minutes away. For the whisky connoisseurs you’ll be pleased to know that there are more distilleries situated near Kilblean Cottages than anywhere else in the country! The famous Glen Garioch is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, founded by the Manson’s and until recently Barley from the farm was supplied to make Whisky. It’s only a short drive from the farm, so book in for a tour and a tasting.
Don’t forget to pack your best hiking boots and waterproofs as the cottages are located between the stunning 165 miles coastline of Aberdeenshire and the dramatic mountains of the Cairngorms, offering plenty of walking routes to explore nearby. From Kilblean Cottages you can see the iconic skyline of Bennachie, a place well worth spending some time exploring. Especially when the views from the top of Aberdeenshire and the North Sea are outstanding. A thirty minute drive will get you to the lively cultural city of Aberdeen, well worth a visit during your stay at Kilblean Cottages.
The kitchens at Kilblean Cottages are fully equipped, however, if you don’t fancy cooking every night then there are plenty of Eateries to indulge in. For a special treat, head over to Meldrum House, serving everything from indulgent afternoon teas to a casual dinner in the 800-year old Cave Bar.
