Coety Bach features cosy interiors, it’s very own secluded garden and even a fire pit for some authentic al fresco dining. Located in the Radnorshire hills, it’s within easy reach of the spectacular sites of the Elan Valley. And only an hours drive away to the Welsh coast.
Inside Coety Bach
As you enter into the rustic interiors, you’ll find a kitchen area to your right. All handcrafted with locally sourced pallet wood. Perfectly equipped, you’ll easily be able to rustle up a tasty breakfast or romantic meal for two. Beyond this lies a dining area to sit and enjoy such tasty treats, whilst enjoying the spectacular views through the arched window. A cosy log burner is sure to keep you toasty on chillier days.
And to the left hand corner of Coety Bach, you’ll see an enchanting raised nook bed. Bring back your inner child as you step up into this cosy bed with a delightful stained glass window. And enjoy a restful night’s sleep after a busy day exploring. The bathroom features an indulgent corner bath for two with an overhead shower, with complimentary bath salts to soothe aching limbs!
Outside Coety Bach
Sit outside and breathe in the breath taking views on the charming veranda to the front of Coety Bach cabin. With a seating area for two, enjoy your breakfast amongst the wildlife, birdsong and fresh Welsh air. It’s the ultimate way to wake up and start the day. By evening you can watch the sun disappear behind the hills from here. Or just outside of the cabin’s garden you’ll find a fire pit. Where you can cook up an authentic meal with the provided tools and perch on the surrounding logs, to truly enjoy the simple pleasures in life. While away the evening, keeping toasty by the fire watching the spectacular display of stars in the dark skies.
If Coety Bach hasn’t entranced you too much into a sense of pure relaxation and you crave a little adventure. There is much to see and do in the local area. The local town of Llandrindod Wells is home to a Victorian man-made lake. A great place to enjoy a walk, cycle or hire a paddle boat. If you enjoy bird watching and haven’t spotted enough Red Kite’s from the cabin, a trip to the Red Kite Feeding Centre could be the ultimate day out.
A half an hour drive will take you to the stunning landscapes of Elan Valley. Where dams, reservoirs and an abundance of natural habitats await your exploration. Or for those craving a trip to the seaside, the vibrant coastal town of Aberystwyth is just over an hour’s scenic drive.
But right on the doorstep, Coety Bach has plenty of local trails to explore and a plethora of local wildlife thanks to the owners work in encouraging biodiversity. And if you don’t fancy cooking, they can recommend some local places serving hearty pub grub and real ales. With perhaps the chance of live music thrown in too!
